He is now looking for an investor that will make the furniture component supplier fit for the future.

Shoe wholesaler Pölking achieves restructuring plan solution

Having maintained its operations within the framework of debtor-in-possession proceedings for the past 14 months, shoe wholesaler J.H. Pölking has achieved a restructuring plan solution. Creditors approved the submitted insolvency plan in early May 2024. The Local Court of Osnabrück has terminated the restructuring proceedings effective 31 May 2024.

Fintech company Dock Financial based in Munich has filed for insolvency. On 22 May 2024, the Local Court of Munich ordered provisional insolvency proceedings. His colleague, attorney Ms Marlene Scheinert, was appointed provisional insolvency administrator for parent company Dock Financial Capital GmbH. Strategic realignment: management consultancy Achtzig20 GmbH starts debtor-in-possession proceedings

Achtzig20 GmbH has initiated debtor-in-possession restructuring proceedings with the aim of putting the management consultancy firm on a viable footing. Dr Maximilian Pluta and Mr Hans-Christian Källner, restructuring experts at PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, are supporting the repositioning under the lead management of Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt. In early June, the Local Court of Ingolstadt ordered provisional debtor-in-possession management and appointed attorney Mr Marc-André Kuhne from law firm dkr kuhne dr. raith in Munich as provisional insolvency monitor. He is overseeing the proceedings and representing the interests of the creditors.

The buyer will acquire the operations as part of an asset deal, effective 1 June 2024, and keep on all 14 employees. The purchase agreement has already been signed.

The Götzen shareholder family provided significant support for the process.

The rescue of Bayreuth Tigers Eishockey GmbH is within reach. Today, the creditors’ assembly approved the insolvency plan by a large majority in the proceedings. Restructuring expert Mr Peter Roeger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH had drawn up the plan beforehand and submitted it to the Local Court of Bayreuth using his right of submission under the German Insolvency Code (InsO). The insolvency plan presented puts the creditors in a better position compared to the liquidation of the ice hockey club. Any appeal must now be lodged within 14 days.

Stute to restructure itself as a debtor in possession

The producer businesses concerned, namely Stute Nahrungsmittelwerke, Paderborner Kühlhaus and K-S-K Technische Betriebswerkstätten, have lost considerable sales volumes in recent years due to customers obtaining the relevant products from Eastern Europe. According to the most recently published annual accounts, the Stute holding company achieved sales of approx. 234 million euros in 2021.
