A bridge to Eastern Europe - PLUTA opens an office in Poland

9 July 2014 · Ulm

PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has opened its first office in Eastern Europe. The new office is in the Polish town of Ostrów Wielkopolski, which is in the triangle formed by the cities of Posen, Lodz and Breslau. When choosing the location, mainly its strategic position for a series of manufacturing companies in the region was decisive. The new office is already managing its own cases in Poland. At the same time, offering a bridgehead to Eastern Europe allows closer coordination of the proceedings of German companies with subsidiaries in Poland.

“The new office is an important step in the growing internationalisation of our practice. Many of our German offices have legal briefs with cross-border relationships to Poland. Our new office will be an important partner for them,” said Dr. Martin Prager, who is responsible for the practice’s international business.
Michael Nowicki is managing the new office. He is a business administration graduate and has many years of experience in managing insolvency proceedings as well as in the reorganisation and restructuring of companies. “We are very pleased to have Mr. Nowicki as an experienced expert for our new office. The Polish market is of increasing importance for our practice and we can now do justice to it,” continued Dr. Prager.
