Download as PDFToday, the Local Court of Berlin-Charlottenburg has appointed the restructuring expert Dr Stephan Thiemann from PLUTA as the provisional insolvency administrator for Glückskäfer Reisen GmbH.
The PLUTA attorney and his team are in the process of obtaining an initial overview of the situation. He is examining the short-term options for continuing the tour operator’s business. Alongside Dr Thiemann, PLUTA’s team includes Ms Ute Sambale and Mr Heinz-Joachim Hombach. The members of the team have vast experience in dealing with insolvency proceedings for travel organisations. Most recently, Dr Thiemann achieved a long-term solution for JT Touristik by selling the tour operator to the travel division of Lidl.
Glückskäfer Reisen offers a wide variety of spa and wellness trips as well as bus and air travel tours. Founded in 2014, the company based in Berlin has a workforce of 22 employees and also includes the “meinkapitän.de” brand specialising in arranging cruises.
