Download as PDFBy an order issued on 29 January 2018, the Local Court of Bielefeld has appointed Mr Stefan Meyer from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as the provisional insolvency administrator for Johann Blomeier Maschinenbau GmbH.
The company operates as a toll manufacturer in the field of CNC turning and milling for various customers. Its portfolio also includes assembly work, which even includes the production of ready-to-use modules.
Together with his team, the attorney Mr Stefan Meyer has already obtained an initial overview of the company’s situation on site. The PLUTA restructuring expert said, “We are continuing the full scope of business operations. The customers can continue ordering and will receive their goods on time.” The objective of the provisional insolvency administrator is to give the long-established company, which was founded in 1945, good prospects of a successful future.
Johann Blomeier Maschinenbau GmbH only has commercial customers. Its products are mainly sold in East Westphalia and in the Münster region. Most recently, the company has managed to generate annual revenues of around 1.6 million euros. The reason for filing for insolvency is liquidity problems, which resulted from promised orders not being awarded or being postponed.
The attorney Mr Stefan Meyer will arrange for the pre-financing of the insolvency substitute benefits as soon as possible, which will ensure that employee wages and salaries are guaranteed for a period of three months. The Spenge-based company has a workforce of 30 employees. On 30 January 2018, a staff meeting took place in which the employees were informed of the situation.
