PLUTA a constant in top rankings for many years

WirtschaftsWoche, a leading German business magazine, has again listed PLUTA as a 2020 Top Law Firm in the fields of insolvency law and restructuring. Moreover, three PLUTA restructuring experts have been ranked among the finest legal professionals. WirtschaftsWoche regularly honours Germany’s best law firms and attorneys in the areas of insolvency and corporate restructuring.

Mr Michael Pluta and Mr Stefan Meyer have been rated top insolvency law attorneys in 2020, while Dr Maximilian Pluta has been named one of the best-regarded restructuring attorneys.

The law firms and attorneys were selected on the basis of extensive analysis. For this, the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) asked more than 1,000 legal experts from 107 law firms to name their best-regarded colleagues in the areas of insolvency law and restructuring. A jury then made their selection from the resulting shortlist of law firms and attorneys.

Mr Michael Pluta, managing director and founder of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, said: “The award from WirtschaftsWoche recognises the esteem in which our work is held. At the same time, it motivates us to remain on the course we have set ourselves. We have continued to expand our expertise and to improve our processes in recent months. In addition to WirtschaftsWoche, PLUTA also appeared several times in the 2020 Best Lawyers ranking recently published by the German business daily Handelsblatt. Eight PLUTA attorneys were recognised as ‘best lawyers’, namely Mr Michael Pluta, Mr Stefan Meyer, Mr Torsten Gutmann, Dr Stephan Thiemann, Dr Martin Prager, Mr Sebastian Laboga, Dr Hubertus Bartelheimer and Mr Tillman de Vries.
